DESCRIPTION:Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) invites adults who support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island young people to a three-module course including online learning modules and a 3-hour face to face workshop. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge and skills in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people in: \n\nSocial determinants of health and their impact on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.\nExploring one’s own cultural lens and how it can impact work with young people.\nExploring the impact and manifestation of trauma on young people.\nReflective checklists. Participants will meet with our course developer to discuss course aspects and explore/troubleshoot individual application of skills and information shared\n\n*Registration limited to 17 participants
