Annual Immunisation Update 2024 webinar

Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) invites General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, Nurse Immunisers and RACF nurses to a webinar which will increase increase knowledge and skills about any recent changes to the NSW Immunisation Schedule and catch up schedules, current vaccine preventable disease trends and immunisation coverage across various age groups.

SPEAKERS:

Suraj Aswani, CNC Immunisation Coordinator, Northern Sydney Public Health Unit
Suraj has worked at the Northern Sydney Public Health Unit for the past 5 years as the Immunisation Clinical Nurse Consultant and Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Suraj has extensive experience as an RN in General Practice and Public/Population Health.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, Nurse Immunisers and RACF nurses

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the National and NSW schedules and changes for 2024
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the key features and current activity of vaccine preventable diseases
  • Develop techniques to improve vaccination coverage in child, adolescent, and adult vaccinations
  • Discuss up-and-coming vaccinations and other immunisation changes for 2024
COST:
There is no cost for GPs, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists and Nurse Immunisers working within the SNHN region to attend this training
