DESCRIPTION:In this half day interactive workshop you will learn about some community practices that can help us create desired change in our communities. This approach challenges problem focused approaches and focuses on what’s strong in our communities. We work with our gifts and what we have to create the community we want. \nHornsby Village Hub members will: \n\nLearn more about their own and others strengths\, assets and sparks!\nLearn more about community assets and how we can utilise them\nImagine how we can create a compassionate\, connected community by activating and connecting our assets\nWalk away with a stronger sense of purpose and motivation to initiate or build on small or larger scale community initiatives or projects\n\nBreakfast and lunch will be provided. \nFurther information Compassionate connected \n  \nThe Hornsby Village Hub is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services.
