Face to face: Advanced Practice Leadership Program

The aim of this full-day workshop is for those in leadership roles in practices, either formal or informal, to further explore, and reflect on past experiences and to plan the next phase of their leadership journey.

Limited spaces are available and preference will be given to practice leaders who have previously completed the Fundamentals in Leadership course or equivalent.

Prerequisite: Completion of a Leadership Profile using the proven DISC “Work of leaders” online assessment. The Sydney North Health Team will arrange for completion of the DiSC Work of Leaders profile and de-brief for those who have not completed this but have been focussed on their leadership growth.

The workshop will involve exploration of theory and practice in leadership including extensive group discussions and workshops, presentations, and reflection exercises.

  • Refresh on your personal leadership style and how to optimise leadership impact in the practice.
  • Ability to define and shape your practice culture.
  • Development of a change management strategy and plan for your practice using contemporary change methodologies
COST:
There is no cost for Practices and their staff within the SNHN region to attend this training
