SUMMARY:WEBINAR: Low Back Pain – Latest Evidence and Sharing the Burden through Team-Based Care
DESCRIPTION:This webinar will discuss the management of patients who present with low back pain. This session will be presented by GP academic Professor Simon Willcock\, along with Profs Simon French and Mark Hancock from Macquarie University. This webinar will cover the latest evidence related to low back pain and how this can be applied in general practice to optimise patient outcomes.  The presentation will use the recently released Australian Clinical Standard for low back pain\, and the WHO guideline for the management of chronic LBP as guides for applying high quality care. \nThe session will include:\n– Brief summary of the most important and recent evidence about low back pain\n– Practical guidance on applying this evidence and the new Australian Clinical Care Standards in general practice\n– Discussion about a research opportunity looking at a new model of team-based care to manage patients with low back pain in a primary care setting.
