Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) invites local Primary Care Practice Nurses to an update on how to perform spirometry in primary care as well as a practical demonstration.

James McBride, Snr Respiratory Scientist & Laboratory Manager, Respiratory Medicine Unit, Sydney Children’s Hospital

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Local Primary Care Nurses practicing in the Northern Sydney Region

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
  • Identify the indications and contraindications for Spirometry testing.
  • Recognise the criteria for an Acceptable Spirometry report
  • Understand Predicted Reference values
  • Identify new methods to understand and interpret Spirometry reports
COST:
There is no cost for Practice Nurses working within the SNHN region to attend this training
