SUMMARY:WEBINAR Training – Initial Assessment and Referral (IAR) for Mental Healthcare
DESCRIPTION:The  National IAR Guidance and  IAR-DST were developed by the Australian Department of Health and is designed to provide: \n– Advice relating to initial assessment and intake (the eight domains).\n– A description of evidence-based services by level of intensity (the five levels of care).\n– Criteria to assist with matching an individual to a level of care that is most likely to meet the individual’s treatment needs and recovery goals (the IAR-DST). \nRemuneration: General Practitioners are eligible for a reimbursement payment of $300.00 exc GST for successful completion of training*\n*Limited funding is available for GP remuneration for one attendance only. GP MUST NOT be primarily working in an organisation that receives Commonwealth funding. Remuneration payments will cease after 30 June 2025. \nThis CPD activity 402583 approved under the RACGP 2023-2025 curriculum CPD Categories: \n– Educational Activity 1.5 hours\n– Reviewing Performance 0.5 hours \nNOTE: National training is now available with numerous dates scheduled.
