Webinar: Update on Electronic National Residential Medication Chart (eNRMC)

Sydney North Health Network invites Pharmacists and GPs working in Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF) and RACF staff to join the Australian Digital Health Agency and Department of Health for an update on Electronic National Residential Medication Chart (eNRMC), including its benefits and the transitional arrangements which commenced on 1 July 2022.

Under the transitional arrangement, healthcare providers can use the transitional eNRMC products for the prescribing, dispensing and supply of PBS medicines. This session will also outline eNRMC functionality that will be available in the future and provide an opportunity for questions and answers.

  • JENENE BAKER | Department of Health and Aged Care
    Jenene has worked with the Department of Health and Aged Care for over 15 years leading teams to design, implement, and manage a broad range of programs and policy changes within the Health portfolio. Jenene’s experience has focused on Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme access, supply, compliance and digital enhancements such as electronic prescribing and real time prescription monitoring. More recently, Jenene’s areas focus has been enablement of medication charting solutions (including electronic medication management) in the hospital and aged care sector.

Gain an understanding of the electronic national residential medication chart, including:

  • the eNRMC transitional arrangement, and future state
  • workflows and processes
  • commonwealth funding available to RACS to assist defray costs associated with implementing a conformant eNRMC system
  • where to go for additional information or support
