SUMMARY:Webinar: Update on Head & Neck Cancer (Diagnosis\, Investigations & Management)
DESCRIPTION:Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) invites local GPs and Practices Nurses to a webinar which will provide information and updates regarding Head and Neck Cancer\, including up to date  research on preventative strategies\, diagnosis\, investigations and management. This session will raise awareness among GPs to appropriately examine patients with suspected cancer\, order relevant investigations and forward urgent referrals. Information will also be provided regarding the processes for patients with Head and Neck cancer from diagnosis to cure\, as well as potential long term side effects of treatment that may present in the GP setting. \nInformation will also be provided regarding a Head and Neck Cancer Screening Day (planned for early 2024) at Royal North Shore Hospital\, offering free cancer screening to the community.
