SUMMARY:Webinar - GP Update on additional eReferrals rollout at NSLHD
DESCRIPTION:Please join this webinar to hear about the expansion of eReferrals for additional NSLHD outpatient services. \nLast August\, 25 outpatient services were launched for HealthLink Electronic Referral (eReferral) systems in Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) and we have been working closely with the Primary Health Network to engage and educate GPs on the system. About 3000 eReferrals have been received from more than 130 different GP practices. \nFeedback received from GPs and hospital staff have highlighted the following benefits: patient and referrer information are pre-populated in the forms to save time for GPs\, field validation and consistency checks are automatic features to ensure all necessary information is included\, pathology and imaging reports and notes are easily attached. In addition\, the improved clinical information enhanced the triage and management of referrals to provide the most appropriate care with more timely manner. \nOn 28 June and 26 July 2023\, 90 outpatient services across Hornsby Ku-ring-gai\, Ryde\, Mona Vale and Royal North Shore Hospitals including Aged Care\, Paediatric\, Diabetes\, Rehabilitation\, Hepatology\, Haematology\, Burns\, Clinical Genetics\, Breast\, Sexual Health and Intelligence Disability will be available for eReferrals. \nAs 97% of district GPs have compatible software like Best Practice\, Medical Director (v3.16)\, Genie and Medtech Evolution to integrate HealthLink eReferrals. This system allows GPs to receive communications back from the service on the progress of the referral through the triage process. Practices require a FREE HealthLink subscription and HealthLink smartforms activated to use ereferrals. Simply\, contact HealthLink on 1800 125 036 or register@healthlink.net to organise.
