ONLINE TRAINING EOI: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Competence Foundation Course

Sun 1st June @ 7:00 pm

The Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) invites you to express your interest to undertake the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander online RACGP-accredited Cultural Safety training.

The Cultural Competence Foundation Course was developed by the Centre for Cultural Competence (CCCA) to enable learners to reflect on their own practices in order to support providing culturally safe services and environments. The course provides fundamental knowledge about Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their cultures, and the effects of colonisation, as well as government policies and practices.

The course is intended to increase knowledge, shift attitudes, and influence behaviour. It has a practical component focusing on individual and organisational outcomes in the workplace.
